About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Health and Wellness Specialist to join our team at Garibaldi Glass. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and wellness throughout our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in managing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and developing training initiatives. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, managers, and supervisors to implement and maintain our Health and Safety Management System. You will also collaborate with internal experts to conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety through education, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement training initiatives to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices
