This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable insurance professional to join our team in London, ON or Vancouver, BC as a Personal Lines Underwriter.

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced underwriter to manage personal lines risks within their level of authority.
  • The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to brokers while building strong relationships.
  • This includes preparing underwriting instructions for renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business.
  • Achieving performance targets and meeting required deadlines are crucial to maintaining high service standards.
  • The ideal candidate will promote and embody the Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. culture, values, and brand promise.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High proficiency with MS Office.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and deliver on deadlines and service standards.
  • An inclusive and transparent collaboration style.
  • Aptitude to adapt to changes in the workplace positively.
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Preference given to applicants with underwriter, broker, or other industry experience and/or education (CAIB, CIP, or other relevant designations).
About Us:

Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. offers a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
