At Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, we are seeking a skilled Hot Briquette Plant Supervisor to join our team in Windsor, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our employees, ensuring efficient site operations, and implementing policies and procedures to drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and schedule daily tasks and workloads to meet production goals.
  • Ensure all necessary materials, equipment, and tools are available and in working order.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to plan and allocate the use of materials, handling equipment such as conveyors, cranes, tractors, and trucks.
  • Inspect incoming materials and verify invoices.
  • Inspect machines and equipment, directing workers engaged in maintenance and repair work.
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion.
  • Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
  • Assign duties to workers and establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain time and production records.
  • Work with other supervisors to coordinate departmental activities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Two years of supervisor experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs.
