**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced District Operations Manager to join our team at Modern Beauty. This role is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of all locations within the district, serving as a liaison between stores and the head office.

The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring the company's long-term strategies in maximizing sales, profitability, and growth. They will also be responsible for leading, managing, and directing all locations in their district according to our company values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between Head Office and store locations by making regular visits to stores and planning visits to remote locations a minimum of two times per year;
  • Coordinate with management to grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth;
  • Monitor and analyze business trends across stores within the district; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including sales, wages, expense control, and store contribution;
  • Protect intellectual property and confidential information such as store sales, staff performance, compensation, and company strategies;
  • Ensure all team members across all stores in the district adhere to company standards by enforcing policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for approving schedules, managing staffing levels, and reducing employee turnover;
  • Hire employees, manage wages in collaboration with Human Resources, and retain team members by nurturing their potential and utilizing conflict resolution techniques;
  • Take a 360-degree approach in providing feedback and reviewing employee performance, collaborating with HR on employee satisfaction, engagement, and strategies for performance improvement;
  • Complete annual Store Performance Assessments (SPA) as a tool to communicate expectations;
  • First point of contact for store break-ins/theft, follow up with necessary inventory, insurance claims, and take all appropriate steps to prevent reoccurrence;
  • Attend and participate in sales and management training meetings and events as directed by Management;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and exceptional people management skills. You will be required to build trust with your teams, lead by example, value creative differences, and handle conflict effectively.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
