Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, including sales associates, apprentices, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of our customers and the business.
  • Authorize payments, returns, and sales transactions.
  • Prepare sales reports, merchandising reports, and personnel reports to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail supervisory role or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
