Northwestern Polytechnic is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, fostering partnerships, and developing programs that support the growth of entrepreneurs in the region.

The Role

Reporting to the Vice President, External Relations, the Director will oversee the overall management of the CEE, including financial budgeting, fundraising, and grant development. They will work closely with an Advisory Board and the Vice President to align the activities of the CEE with the strategic plans of Northwestern Polytechnic and the needs of the entrepreneurship community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage partnerships with organizations impacting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Grande Prairie.
  • Define objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) and associated budget allocations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the evolving entrepreneurship support ecosystem.
  • Organize and participate in community events and initiatives related to entrepreneurship.
  • Manage the financial budget and related objectives and key performance indicators.
