The Opportunity

As the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the Centre. This includes developing and executing programs and events, managing partnerships and collaborations, and driving entrepreneurial ecosystem development in close partnership with Northwestern Polytechnic faculty and staff, other organizations, and the entrepreneurship community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with organizations impacting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Grande Prairie, including non-profit and government organizations, academic institutions, financial institutions, private companies, community, industry, Indigenous partners, and others.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Centre, aligning with Northwestern Polytechnic's strategic plans and the needs of the entrepreneurship community.
  • Organize and participate in community events and initiatives related to entrepreneurship, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop, manage, monitor, and report on the financial budget and related objectives and key performance indicators, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimization.
