The Role

As the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the Centre. This includes:

  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with key stakeholders, including non-profit organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and industry leaders.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan, aligned with Northwestern Polytechnic's goals and the needs of the entrepreneurship community.
  • Leading the development and delivery of educational programs, events, and initiatives that support entrepreneurs and small businesses.
  • Managing the Centre's budget, resources, and personnel to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Collaborating with the Advisory Board and Vice President, External Relations to ensure the Centre's activities are aligned with the institution's strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Defining and executing programs and events that support entrepreneurs and small businesses.
  • Managing partnerships and collaborations with other organizations to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the evolving entrepreneurship support ecosystem.
  • Organizing and participating in community events and initiatives related to entrepreneurship.
  • Developing, managing, and monitoring the financial budget and related objectives and key performance indicators.
