Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, we currently have a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000.

Job Description: As a Recreation Therapist II with our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring that the level of therapeutic recreation practice in your clinical area is evidence-based, patient- and family-centred, and in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership, coordinating assessments, treatments, education, and care of patients, as well as participating in program development to ensure effective delivery of services.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will require a completion of a bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or Recreation and Leisure Studies, as well as active or eligible registration for Professional Membership with the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA). A minimum of three years' related clinical experience as a Recreation Therapist is also required.
