Job Title: Environmental Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Program Coordinator to join our team at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing environmental programs and initiatives that promote conservation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop educational materials to support environmental programs
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs to promote environmental awareness and conservation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and recommend improvements
  • Recruit and hire staff to support environmental programs
  • Develop and deliver presentations to promote environmental awareness and conservation
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure effective program delivery
  • Provide information to the public through various channels to promote environmental awareness and conservation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, education, conservation biology)
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental program coordination or a related field
  • Specialized knowledge and skills in environmental conservation and sustainability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
