Job Title: Environmental Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Program Coordinator to join our team at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing environmental programs and initiatives that promote conservation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop educational materials to support environmental programs
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs for environmental education
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and recommend improvements
  • Recruit and supervise staff and volunteers to support environmental programs
  • Develop and deliver presentations and workshops on environmental topics
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations to promote environmental conservation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, education, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental education or conservation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced reliability security clearance and vulnerable sector check
