Job Title: Environmental Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Program Coordinator to join our team at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing environmental programs and initiatives that promote conservation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop educational materials to support environmental programs
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs for environmental education
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and recommend improvements
  • Recruit and hire staff to support environmental programs
  • Develop and deliver presentations at conferences and workshops
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure effective program delivery
  • Provide information to the public through various media channels
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, education, conservation biology)
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental education or conservation
  • Specialized knowledge and skills in environmental conservation and education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
