We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our IT M&A Strategy team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical supporting role in the due diligence phase, focusing on financial controls and setting and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for IT M&A activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed analysis of the organizational structure of the target company, including roles, responsibilities, and retention risks for key IT personnel.
- Apply in-depth knowledge to identify potential cost synergies and savings opportunities.
- Review the target company's IT budget, current expenditures, and future financial commitments to ensure alignment with WSP business objectives.
- Coordinate due diligence across multiple workstreams, making decisions on moderately complex issues to ensure a comprehensive risk and integration analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in an IT M&A role, with a strong focus on; KPI development/tracking, financial modeling and strategy.
- Certification as: Business Analyst (CBAP), Project Management (PMP), or M&A (CMAP) considered as asset.
- Exceptional skills in creating and delivering high-impact presentations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with M&A integration projects in a large, global organization.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
