Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for improving site profitability and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory accuracy of raw materials and finished products.
  • Leader of Rework and Blocked Stock Action team.
  • Direct/Supervise lift truck operators that support the production lines.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Process Controlling and Quality on cost savings opportunities.
  • Creating purchase orders and goods receipts for warehouse.
  • Provide training assistance and procedures for operations staff.
  • Monthly reconcile of the outside warehouse, keep and track history by month.
  • Monthly review of all inventory adjustments, positive and negative, performing a deep dive into the top issues from the previous month to help drive change.
  • Site SAP expert for operations processes and audits the accuracy of these activities and retrains as necessary.
  • Act as backup for logistics coordinator.
  • Ensure site meets Barry Callebaut, supplier and customer traceability standards.
  • Meets/exceeds requirements for food and employee safety.
Requirements
  • SAP – demonstrated experience using SAP.
  • Strong technical abilities (Excel, Access, Power Point, Lotus Notes).
