Job Title: Oncology Business Unit Leader

As a key member of the Takeda team, we are seeking an experienced Oncology Business Unit Leader to drive the strategy and goals for our Oncology Business Unit (BU). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all functions within the BU, including marketing, sales, medical, market access, patient advocacy, and insights & analytics, to ensure achievement of ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement access, commercial, and medical strategies for the BU to ensure achievement of goals
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage company risk profile and identify and mitigate risks that may impact Takeda
  • Drive operational excellence and set and own budget, targets, and follow-up performance and results for the BU
  • Develop and communicate local oncology strategy with commercial, medical, and pricing & market access teams
Requirements:
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams at local or regional level
  • Strong knowledge of local oncology market, business model, and local legislation
  • Therapy and product area knowledge, as well as clinical data understanding
  • Proficiency in Key Account Management (KAM) model
