Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team as a leader and coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, resident-centered care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Administer medications and treatments, and monitor residents' physical and psychological conditions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Support the administrative requirements of the community, including admissions and confidentiality maintenance.
- Provide coaching and direction to care staff, and participate in orientation and education programs.
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program and current licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
- Successful annual Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) competency testing.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility an asset.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently, and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Computer skills, including basic navigation of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrates collaborative and team working skills.
