Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary

Bhullar Excavating and Demolition Inc is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and transportation department, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as trucks and dump trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.



Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, dump trucks, and other specialized vehicles to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, and ensure they are properly secured for transport.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, and follow company safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.


Requirements

  • Valid driver's license (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, such as trucks and dump trucks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job.


Working Conditions

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, warehouses, and other industrial settings. The job will require working at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
