As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and installing custom cabinets and furniture for our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components
* Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
* Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
* Instruct apprentices
* Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
* Operate CADD and other computer software systems
* Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints
* Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
* Maintain clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Manual dexterity
* Attention to detail
* Standing for extended periods
* Combination of sitting, standing, walking
* Ability to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
