Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Reporting Specialist to join our team at CP. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the company's financial reporting activities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take on a challenging and rewarding role. As a Corporate Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating detailed accounting and reporting activities on a recurring basis. This includes performing journal entries and reconciliations, preparing external financial disclosures, and assessing and researching implications of significant financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate detailed accounting and reporting activities to support rapid and accurate execution
  • Perform journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare external financial disclosures to meet regulatory requirements
  • Assess and research implications of significant financial transactions to inform business decisions
  • Identify and analyze inconsistent information and recommend adjustments where necessary
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • CPA designation or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in accounting and reporting
  • Knowledge of US GAAP requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
