Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our tax practice, you will work closely with our Partners to deliver exceptional tax planning and compliance services to our Canadian Corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client engagements and work closely with Partners on tax planning initiatives.
- Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns and conduct and present tax research.
- Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and implement tax-planning strategies for our clients.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff.
- Collaborate with other office members to attract new work to the firm.
- Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in tax in a public accounting firm.
- Professional accounting designation.
- Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth tax course.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand the clients' business.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
- Emphasis on quality and adding value in client offerings and services.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting demands and priorities.
- Capacity to instill enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results.
- Ability to provide persuasive and self-assured responses to challenging questions.
