A typical day for a Tax Manager at CB Canada may include:
* Teamwork with tax and assurance professionals to provide comprehensive tax services, including compliance, tax provision, research, and controversy services, in a paperless and process-driven environment.
* Determining all information required to provide complete, accurate, and timely tax services within budget.
* Managing clients/engagements, developing budgets, determining resource requirements, expanding relationships with clients, and helping grow the tax practice.
* Participating in managing a team by assisting with forecasting future work, delegating work effectively, and managing team resources.
To be successful as a Tax Manager at CB Canada, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years of corporate tax experience and interest in the areas of tax accounting and tax provisions (preparing and reviewing for attest purposes).
* An accounting designation, such as CA/CPA.
* Currently enrolled or completed CICA/CICPA in-depth tax course.
* Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability.
