We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll lead electrical design and engineering efforts on various projects, from planning through post-construction. Your primary responsibilities will include applying engineering knowledge to plan, size, evaluate, select, and specify electrical systems according to relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.

You'll perform tasks such as conducting field investigations, liaising with clients, preparing design calculations, authoring technical reports, delivering presentations to stakeholders, leading the development of construction packages (drawings and technical specifications), estimating construction costs, monitoring and supporting construction, participating in commissioning, and contributing to business development activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as Engineer-of-Record for projects and/or project components.
  • Leading project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner, contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
  • Participating in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating.
  • Developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
  • Leading the preparation and coordination of project specifications with construction documents.
  • Conducting quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers.
  • Assisting with proposal development.
  • Overseeing and managing multiple projects.
  • Providing guidance, training, and mentorship for junior and intermediate engineers and designers.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer status.
  • A minimum of ten years of related work experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work and collaborate with internal and external customers.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $107,600 - $161,400, depending on location and qualifications.
