Functioning as a comprehensive hospital network, HHS encompasses six distinct hospital sites. Notably, it houses Ontario's second-largest and fastest growing pediatric hospital, as well as a regional cancer centre, a regional rehabilitation centre, an urgent care centre, and a satellite health facility. In Ontario, HHS holds a significant role as a provider of tertiary and quaternary hospital services, particularly in regional programs focusing on trauma, burns, neurology, stroke, cardiac care, and a many other specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the integrated system of hospitals, programs, and services that comprise HHS.
  • Bring a deep commitment to community and patient-centred care to the organization.
  • Create an environment where everyone who interacts with HHS, whether as a patient or a staff member, feels included, safe, and respected.

Requirements:

  • Multiple years of success as a strategic senior leader and visionary, with extensive experience reporting to a Board of Directors, ideally in a healthcare environment.
  • Exceptional knowledge and insight into Ontario's evolving health care system.
  • Academic preparation at the Masters level, or equivalent.
