Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring LPN to temporarily join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in the Vancouver Island region, British Columbia.

Contract Details

Contract Duration: 3-4 months (depending on your availability) with possibility of extension. Short-term contracts can also be discussed.

Location: Duncan, BC or Ladysmith, BC

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents.
  • Administer medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supervise care staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.

Registration: Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.

Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).

Work Schedule and Requirements

Shifts: 8-hour shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts.

Overtime Pay: Available.

Language Requirement: French not required.
