We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Deli Clerk at Your Independent Grocer.
About the Role
As a Deli Clerk, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our store shelves are always stocked and ready for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer needs and ensuring that our store meets customer expectations.
- Maintain and stock product displays and shelves to meet company standards.
- Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs to assist with ordering.
- Setup company-directed promotions and programs to drive sales and engagement.
- Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Cover Manager's vacation, days off, and support Manager in day-to-day processes.
- Assist staff members with training, questions, and daily tasks.
- Work in both Hot Meals Department and Cold Deli Department.

Experience
We are looking for a candidate with prior experience (1-3 years) in a Food Services/Food Retail Environment. Applications with no experience at all will be declined.
Previous Management Experience is an asset but not required.
What We Offer
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Able to move up to 50lbs and be in constant mobility for an entire shift.
