Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular security patrols of assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including criminal activity, security breaches, and other safety hazards.
  • Investigate security incidents and complete comprehensive written reports.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including fires, evacuations, and medical emergencies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and visitors.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in security or a related field.
  • Police Foundations Diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Able to commit to Continental Rotation for minimum six (6) months.
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and section 494 of the Criminal Code is required.
  • Must be 18 years old and meet all other minimum requirements.
  • Must possess a valid Security Guard License in Ontario.
  • A full driver's license (G License) is strongly preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR Level C with AED certification is required.
  • Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force Certification is preferred.
