AL-MUQEET FOODS INC. is seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure efficient coverage of shifts.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
