At Patiala House- The Indian Kitchen, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team as an Executive Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and kitchen management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. The Executive Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for managing kitchen operations, including providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, and providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. The Executive Chef will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
