The Field Placement Advisor role at Humber College offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of our students.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional individual with excellent administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills to join our Faculty of Social and Community Services team as a Field Placement Advisor.
Responsibilities:- Connect with available field experience opportunities for students and liaise with host supervisors, seminar instructors, faculty advisors, and students
- Manage a database of field experience related information and perform various administrative tasks relating to Work-Integrated Learning
- Uphold the FSCS values of compassion, integrity, respect, self-awareness, and inclusion in all interactions
This role requires a proactive team member who can work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Exceptional organizational, time management, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
Requirements:Education:A 4-year bachelor's degree is required.Experience/Skills:
A minimum of two years of related work experience is necessary. The successful candidate will possess exceptional administrative, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Applicants with a background in Human Service fields such as Social Service, Community Development, Addictions and Mental Health, Behavioural Science, Community Justice, and job development experience will be given preference.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
