Prime Video is seeking a highly skilled Creative Social Media Strategist to lead innovative social media programs for major award-winning entertainment properties in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results on social media, with the ability to develop strategy from scratch and drive best-in-class customer experience and engagement.

About the Role

This role requires an experienced and creative social strategist with a genuine passion for movies, series, and global content. You will be responsible for building always-on social efforts that impact Canadian customers, owning the strategy end-to-end for Canadian English and French language social accounts.

You will work closely with internal teams, including brand, creative, synergy, events, and PR, as well as partner with external social media and influencer agencies. Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality social content that resonates with unique audiences, driving both long-term strategy and day-to-day editorial decisions.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer instincts, project management skills, and an aptitude for developing insights-driven global strategies. You will also contribute to the development of new product features and tools for social marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and launch social strategies for Prime Video in Canada to grow our social accounts and build loyal online communities.
  • Create innovative, best-in-class always-on social content for customers, working closely with brand, creative, paid social, PR, and synergy teams.
  • Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations, fostering global social conversation and leveraging it to build vibrant communities.
  • Manage Canadian editorial social media agencies (English and French) and oversee campaign planning and management.
  • Develop and own goals and performance metrics for social accounts, monitoring regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative.

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in social marketing, including creative development.
  • Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across digital platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent.
  • Creative editorial experience, ideally within social media.
