Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities as a SAP Payroll Specialist will include:

  • Payroll Testing: Perform thorough testing of assigned application systems, reviewing and evaluating requirements and design documentation, developing test strategies and comprehensive test documentation, and reporting progress to the Reporting Manager.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of SAP Payroll system, including local SAP Payroll HR IT processes and related activities, to support payroll processing for local employees and assignees.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in meetings with stakeholders for requirements gathering, implement established test processes and procedures, test documents, templates, and test tools, and maintain effective communication with the Reporting Manager and other team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience: Hands-on experience with SAP HR/HCM, payroll knowledge of wage and hour payroll practices, and experience with various Infotypes in PA30, personnel actions using PA40, and payroll process.
  • Excellent Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills, intermediate SQL skills, and experience utilizing testing software such as HPALM and xRAY, as well as experience in writing test documentation such as test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test result reports.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and succinct manner, interact and influence at all organizational levels, and handle conflict with confidence and integrity.
