Clinical Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Northern Health. As a key member of our Terrace Health Unit department, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and supervising exercise sessions for primary care rehabilitation clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs for clients with various health conditions
- Conduct exercise sessions and provide education and counseling to clients
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop and implement program plans
- Provide support and input into program planning, development, evaluation, and outreach
- Deliver community programming to client groups
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Sciences from a recognized program
- Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with either the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
