Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and supervising exercise sessions for primary care rehabilitation clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs for clients with various health conditions
  • Conduct exercise sessions and provide education and counseling to clients
  • Collaborate with an interprofessional team to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Contribute to program planning, development, evaluation, and outreach
  • Provide support and input into community programming to client groups
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Sciences from a recognized program
  • Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with either the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
