Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and evaluate safe and effective exercise programs for clients with various health conditions and fitness levels.
* Provide education and counseling to clients on healthy lifestyle habits, exercise techniques, and behavior change strategies.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for clients.
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals, and develop personalized exercise programs to meet those needs.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and program outcomes.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Sciences from a recognized program.
* Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with either the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
* Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
* Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, with the ability to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed.
