Assembly Line Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Line Team Leader to join our team at Durabuilt Windows & Doors. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process, ensuring quality and productivity, and leading a team of up to 10 employees.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit reports on production progress and any issues that may arise.
- Establish work schedules and ensure they are followed.
- Train or arrange for training of new staff members.
- Oversee the safety of operations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Recommend personnel actions, including promotions and terminations.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Set up machines and equipment for production.
- Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- You will have secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- You must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to work effectively with a team.
- You will also need to have good judgement, be organized, reliable, and flexible.
- A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required for this role.

- The work term is permanent, with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- The work language is English.
