About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the Children's Institute of Development and Advancement Inc. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's communication and swallowing skills, including speech, language, voice, resonance, and cognitive-linguistic abilities.
  • Treatment and Intervention: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders, including speech therapy, language therapy, and swallowing therapy.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for children with complex needs.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing disorders, as well as strategies for supporting children's development.
  • Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research studies and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of speech-language pathology and improve outcomes for children with communication and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with children with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Skills: Strong assessment and treatment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
