About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team at BEST QUALITY TILE & STONE LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 tilesetters to ensure efficient and high-quality tile installation.
    • Provide guidance and training to team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and schedule tile installation projects to meet deadlines and client expectations.
    • Oversee the preparation of production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit and hire new team members and carry out related staffing actions.
    • Manage employee relations, including performance evaluations and personnel actions.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all team members follow health and safety regulations and guidelines.
    • Identify and mitigate potential hazards on the job site.
  • Materials and Equipment
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and set up for efficient tile installation.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation or a related field.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Reliability and strong work ethic.
    • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work site environment: outdoors.
  • Work setting: construction, residential, and restoration projects.
