Tilesetters Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team at Canadoo Tile & Floors Inc.
Job Summary:The Tilesetters Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the work of tilesetters, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of tilesetting techniques and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of tilesetters to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
- Train or arrange for training of tilesetters to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and ensure that tilesetters have the necessary information to complete their work.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the tilesetting industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of tilesetting techniques and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to train or arrange for training of tilesetters.
The Tilesetters Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of tilesetters. The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language:The primary language of work is English.Hours of Work:
30 to 40 hours per week.
