About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Team Lead to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for the organization and supervision of the daily operation of General Imaging.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiological technology and a proven track record of leadership and management experience. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging department, including supervising staff, managing resources, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

About You

We are seeking a candidate who meets the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Minimum 3 years' recent experience working as a technologist in a hospital setting
  • Formal management course preferred

Hours
  • Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
  • Shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends
Compensation and Benefits

$34.40 - $41.76 hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
