Radiological Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care while operating radiological equipment with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiological technology, with a focus on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and foster a culture of safety in the workplace.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing diagnostic or therapeutic procedures using ionizing radiation
- Applying the ALARA principle to minimize radiation exposure
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Working independently and under minimal supervision
- Traveling to other sites as required
We offer a competitive salary range of $30.83 - $37.54 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who possesses:
- A graduate degree from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Previous experience in diagnostic imaging is an asset
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
