Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions, processing medication orders, and maintaining stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Process medication orders and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions according to organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication orders and prescriptions
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Perform clerical duties as assigned, including data entry and stock management
- Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
