Key Responsibilities- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions under the indirect supervision of a pharmacist.
- Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners, ensuring accuracy and authenticity.
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies, maintaining accurate records.
- Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions and ensure accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification program.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with experience in Sobeys National Pharmacy Group Computer systems an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
