We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Bilingual Property Field Claims Adjuster to join our team at Xpera. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for adjusting claims while ensuring business development opportunities are maximized.
Key Responsibilities- Prompt contact and follow-up with policyholders and claimants to ensure timely resolution of claims.
- Investigate the cause of claims and provide solid recommendations to clients.
- Use technology to scope and establish the quantum of damages.
- Identify exposures, recommend reserves, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.
- Provide high-level customer service to clients and insured throughout the claims process.
- Participate in after-hours customer service requirements when needed.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in property claims adjusting.
- Ongoing commitment to education and learning, preferably pursuing CIP designation.
- Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics.
- Good investigative manner.
- Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
- Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature and perform advanced numerical calculations.
- Adjuster's license or currently pursuing CIP designation.
- Bilingualism is an asset (fluency in French and English).
