About the Role

The Link is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing screening, intake, assessments, and referral services for children and youth in care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in assessment, best practices, and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop therapeutic goals to support individual youth and their caregivers.
  • Work within a trauma-based, attachment, and transitional support framework.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, deliver, and coordinate services tailored to each youth's needs.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and support regarding youth treatment, behavior management, and problem-solving.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all clinical activities.
  • Consult with The Link's centralized intake and assessment team to ensure the best possible standard of care for our clients.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in human services or social work.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical setting or social work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
