At Lorven Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer to join our team for a long-term contract in Ontario, Canada (onsite). The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality software solutions using your expertise in SQL coding and querying skills.
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and implement databases and data warehouses, leveraging your knowledge of database design principles.
  • Provide onsite support and ensure timely issue resolution, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding of project deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience in IT, with a broad exposure to different platforms and technologies.
  • 5+ years of SQL coding and querying skills.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Talend.
  • 5+ years in UNIX scripting, FTP, and basic network principles.
  • 5+ years skills in database and data warehouse design principles.
  • 1-2 years of experience in testing, debugging skills, and troubleshooting support and development issues.
  • Experience in providing onsite support.
  • Customer-focused and works well in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-managed to achieve deliverables.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write consistent, clear, and accurate documentation.
  • Experience in Agile methodology (preferably SAFe).
