About This Role

We're seeking a regular, full-time Payroll Associate to join our Financial Services department. As a member of the Payroll & Benefits team, you'll be responsible for accurate payroll processing, benefit transactions, and reporting activities in compliance with multiple collective agreements, employer terms, statutory, and legal requirements.

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring direct deposit information is sent and all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of HR data input by reviewing transactions.
  • Communicate with employees, managers, and other departments when payroll documentation or input is incomplete, inaccurate, or not in compliance.

This role requires strong customer focus, excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. You'll work independently and effectively as part of a team, using Microsoft Office, email, and web-based systems.
