Job Title: Daycare Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Daycare Worker to join our team. As a Daycare Worker, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing child-care programs that promote the well-being and development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Storytelling and Creative Activities: Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to encourage creativity and self-expression.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Health and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Team Collaboration: Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient childcare service.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a passion for working with children.
