About the Role

At Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Architecture and Advanced Analytics team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our data governance strategy and driving business outcomes.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned data professional to lead the evaluation, design, and analysis of solutions across various business applications and technologies. You'll work closely with stakeholders to provide technical guidance and decision-making support, ensuring that our EA Target State architecture aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and designing solutions for specific business applications or technologies
  • Providing technical expertise to third-party vendors and external firms
  • Tracking our application portfolio and assisting project teams in shaping architectures consistent with platforms, roadmaps, and standards
  • Resolving technical issues and providing quality control throughout all stages of systems architecture projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • A minimum of seven years' experience defining governance for data architects, with a strong understanding of data governance and data structures
  • Demonstrated experience producing and editing high-quality technical documentation for various audiences
  • Demonstrated experience designing and integrating business processes and software
  • An ability to analyze and decide on solutions for enterprise-level software and infrastructure
