Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Pega System Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that system architectures are functional, robust, and scalable within the context of a client enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
  • Provide architecture and designs to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop/integrate projects that solve complex business requirements.
  • Develop and demonstrate advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to size, manage scope, and mitigate risk.
  • Ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution aligns with customer technical and functional requirements.
  • Participate in the development of additional consulting opportunities within the customer base.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience working with technical architects, business users, and engineers.
  • 2+ years' experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications.
  • Hands-on experience creating Pega workflows, defining rules, creating classes, developing templates, streams, data pages, activities, and UIs in PRPC.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Relevant experience in the Software industry.
  • Familiarity with enterprise clients.
  • Background in insurance and finance domains.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
  • Exposure to various technologies, including WebSphere or WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net, Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL.
  • A track record of delivering system architectures that are functional, robust, and scalable.
  • Ability to partner with clients to ensure requirements align with the delivered solution.
  • Technical training and user support provided to technical and business groups.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Senior System Architect (PCSSA).
  • Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) - desirable.
  • Marketing Consultant (PCMC) - desirable.

Salary

$140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
