About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Bunge Canada.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance support to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with maintenance staff, electrical staff, operations staff, and contractors in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
  • Contribute to plant safety by participating in training programs and identifying potential hazards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for repairs during off-hours as required.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Maintain regular attendance and adjust work schedules as needed, including overtime.
  • Cooperate with other maintenance staff, operations staff, supervisors, management, and outside contractors as necessary.
  • Demonstrate ability to wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively.
  • Be willing and able to work in various conditions, including heat, cold, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, catwalks, scaffolding, etc.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities and participate in training sessions.

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • Training and/or experience in drive systems, gearboxes, belts, chains.
  • Knowledge of grain handling and conveying systems, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques (stick, MIG, TIG) and metal repair and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand written manuals, blueprints, work orders, etc.
  • Capacity to create accurate written records of work, including parts used, problems, etc.
  • Interprovincial Millwright ticket is considered an asset.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
